MARLBORO TOWNSHIP ESSAY CONTEST RULES

All submissions must include:

An essay of up to 1500 words maximum.  (Poems, artwork, etc. will also be considered).  Entries considered for publication will include things like:

A reason that Marlboro is “great”.

Why you would recommend Marlboro as a place to live.

Something positive that happened in Marlboro. For example; a personal story or an event, a place where you always have a good time, people that you enjoy being with, extra-curricular activities, etc.

Relationships that you have developed with people in Marlboro that are special.   (Teachers, friends, coaches, business owners, significant others, etc.)

Cultural/Religious activities.

Note: Please be as specific as possible. For example, if you like the school system, what is it that you like? (class size, a story about a favorite teacher(s), curriculum, etc)

Contact information must include:

• Name
• Phone number the author/artist can be reached at.*
• Email address, if applicable.* 
• How long you have lived in Marlboro Township
• Your Role in the Community: (i.e.: Teacher, Parent, Student, Grandparent, Business Owner)
• A personal quote, comment, opinion, or short commentary that reflects upon your submitted essay or drawing. For instance: "Marlboro is a great place to live, and because of the great people who live here, I will remain a resident my entire life." (All quotes that are positive and appropriate will be published in the book with the author's name whether or not the essay is selected.)
• Select one category for your Submission (which category do you fit into):
